Botox
Botox® (onabotulinumtoxinA) is well-known and widely used. It contains botulinum toxin type A along with stabilizing (accessory) proteins.

- Prevents future wrinkle formation when used regularly (reducing muscle activity that causes lines).
- Fast onset: many people notice visible improvements within a few days; full effect in about 10-14 days.

Xeomin
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a “purified” (“naked”) neurotoxin that has had most or all of its accessory proteins removed. This formulation may reduce risk of antibody formation (which might make treatments less effective over time in some rare cases) and offers a simpler formulation.
